A 67-year-old Korean woman was robbed and killed Monday night allegedly by the security guard of a Korean church in Parañaque City.
Police identified the victim as Byung Rae Kim Rabello, a church caretaker.
She sustained severe head and body injuries.
Police identified the suspect as Valleros Gambong, 25, of Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City.
But Superintendent Ronald Estilles, city police chief, said investigators would also invite for questioning church member Mi Young Park.
Mi discovered the victims body at the main door of the Korean Union Church located on Capernaum street, Mulitnational Village, Moonwalk at around 11 p.m. last Monday.
Police discovered the victims room in disarray and found traces of blood that led to the victims body.
Also found at the crime scene was an empty envelope which a church leader said contained Byungs salary amounting to P20,000.
Police learned that Gambong was on duty at the time the crime was committed, promting them to consider him a suspect. Nikko Dizon
