Bonnet Gang foiled

Three suspected members of the notorious Bonnet Gang were arrested during the groups foiled attempt to rob a 24-hour convenience store in Malabon City last Friday.
Superintendent Pete Ramos, Malabon City police chief, identified the suspects as Mario Mahinay, 23, Ronald Villanueva, 19, and Juny Boy Yuhanon, 18, all natives of Masbate and residents of Letre Road in Barangay Tunsoya.
The suspects were arrested at around 2 a.m. after a concerned citizen called up the city police station about the presence of three suspicious looking men casing the Kids and Moms convenience store on Sancianco street corner Rizal Avenue in Barangay Tunsoya.
Special Operations Group (SOG) agents, led by SPO1 Jessie Caranto, responded to the call and chanced upon the suspects, all in black sweat shirts and bonnets, as they were about to enter the Kids and Moms store.
