Muntinlupa police chief gets top PNP award

The chief of police of the Muntinlupa Police Station recently bagged the Best Senior Police Chief Officer for Operations in the national level after besting all the other equally qualified senior chiefs of police in the country.

Police Senior Supt. Erasto Sanchez won the award for his exemplary performance in solving and fighting crimes before and during his stint as chief of police in the city of Muntinlupa.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi commended the policeman, saying Sanchez exudes a kind of leadership that should be looked upon by his subordinates and co-officers in the field. "Though we didn’t win the Best Police Station award, we were even luckier to have Col. Sanchez head our city police because his award is an award for all of us, especially in his turf. I’m sure he will use his expertise in the successful operation and eradication of more crimes in our city," Fresnedi said.

Earlier, Sanchez got the same award in the regional level held at the 12th PNP Anniversary at the National Capital Regional Police Office. His chief operation division Maj. Rene Lasola also won the Best Junior Police Chief Officer during the regional awarding. The two individual award achievements were said to further elevate the performance of the police personnel in the city of Muntinlupa.
