-
Two policemen based in Camp Crame and their cohort have been arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for the alleged kidnapping of a businessman in Sta. Cruz, Manila last Dec. 1.

Those arrested were identified by NBI Director Reynaldo Wycoco as Police Officer 2 Feliciano Sisi, 33; and Police Officer 3 Sherwin Sumile, 40, both of the Camp Crame Headquarters Support Service Administrative Holding Center; and Joselito Salvador, 36, of Anak Pawis, Sunflower Street, Pasig City.

According to the NBI’s Field Operations Division, the three allegedly kidnapped for ransom businessman Vicente Gentugao.

Gentugao, a trader from Dasmariñas, Cavite was eating with a lady friend at a fastfood on Tayuman Street when the suspects, introducing themselves as cops, forced him inside a waiting car at gunpoint. They had demanded P100,000 for the trader’s safe release. Mike Frialde
