The Las Piñas City police has launched a manhunt for the driver of a 68-year-old woman and her housemaid whose decomposing bodies were discovered inside their house Monday night.
Superintendent Armando Pineda, city police chief, said investigators are now contacting former employers of the driver, identified only as "Dodong" or "Butchocoy."
Pineda said the police want to secure a copy of the suspects photograph which they would distribute to the media. Pineda said the suspect supposedly had an address in Las Piñas but he was not there when police checked it out Tuesday night.
"He could have fled to the province by now," Pineda said.
Pineda added that police are eyeing robbery or vendetta as possible motives for the crime.
Police have yet to determine if any of the victims belongings were lost, Pineda said, as they are still waiting for victim Irenita Agitos husband to arrive today from abroad.
The bodies of Agito and her housemaid, Natividad Centino, 57, were discovered inside the toilet Monday night. Both were hogtied and maggots were already eating their bodies. Neighbors complained of a stench coming from the house and prompted them to contact the police.
