Police arrested three drug pushers and recovered from them 25 grams of shabu during a buy-bust operation inside the City hall compound of Pasay City.
The suspects Ace Aprid, 24, of Cuyegkeng St., Zone 1 Barangay Uno; Arvic Ajedo, 20, jobless of Topaz St., Barangay 180 Zone 19 and Jerry Tingson, 38 of Barrio Bayanihan, Maricaban all in Pasay City were arrested after they handed a sachet containing 25 grams of shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
Aprid is said to be a son of a retired policeman.
Superintendent Miguel Laurel, head of the Regional Intelligence and Special Operations Office (RISOO) said his men managed to strike a deal with Aprid for the purchase of 25 grams of shabu.
At about 9:30 p.m. of Monday, the suspects arrived on board a dark green Mitsubishi Galant with license plate UMT 739 at the parking lot infront the City Hall building of Pasay City, said Laurel.
After a few minutes of negotiation, the suspects handed over to a poseur-buyer a sachet of shabut in exchange of P10,000 in fake money.
The police agent then struck the pre-arranged signal after the transaction was completed and Laurel and his men moved in and announced the arrest. Laurel also ordered the impounding of the suspects car.
The seized shabu was brought to the crime laboratory of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Camp Crame for tests.
Police said the suspects refused to issue any statement regarding their arrest. Non Alquitran
