Ebdane bested some 15 police generals, garnering the best time of 161.03 seconds in completing the three stages of the marksmanship course at the PNP Firing Range.
The course included basic marksmanship, speed shooting and assault, aimed at determining the proficiency of police personnel.
Bob Sajot, an ARMSCOR representative who acted as range officer, said he was impressed with the police generals skills in target shooting. "They are very good and we are impressed."
But just like any sports enthusiast, the generals need to continue practicing their shooting skills to maintain the proficiency on the use of handguns, Sajot pointed out.
Chief Superintendent Avelino Razon, director of the PNP Human Resources and Doctrine Development (HRDD), followed Ebdane with 175.58 seconds.
Maritime Group Director Chief Superintendent George Aliño and Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DRPM) Director Jose Lalisan finished with times of 194.98 and 197.60 seconds, respectively. Christina Mendez
