Fire hits Sulo Hotel; no injuries

A 20-minute fire hit the Sulo Hotel in Quezon City yesterday, damaging one of the guestrooms. No one was hurt.
An initial report by the Bureau of Fire-Central revealed that the fire started in Room 244 on the second floor of the hotel located in Matalino Street, Diliman at around 6:45 a.m.
The occupant of the room was identified as Leandro Enriquez.
Case investigators Senior Fire Officer 3 Dionisio Cabote and SFO2 Virgilio Agpaoa said the fire destroyed a portion of the wall and cabinets.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Damage to property was estimated at P100,000.
Investigators also said five fire trucks responded to the fire, which reached the second alarm.
The blaze was contained about 7:05 a.m.
