Chinese trader slain by nephew

-
Don’t nag too much.

A 50-year-old Chinese businessman learned this lesson a little too late when his nephew he had been nagging to get a job stabbed him to death last Saturday in Malabon.

Simuon Ang Chua, of 14 Isagani St., Barangay Acacia, Malabon, died while being treated at a nearby hospital due to a stab wound in the chest.

Suspect William Juab Gois, 43, who is living with the victim, is now being sought by the police.

Police said that prior to the stabbing, Chua had been nagging Gois for being a "parasite." Go reportedly was jobless and relied only on his uncle for food and other necessities.

The nagging turned nasty, and Gois, unable to take the verbal abuse anymore, punched Chua in the face, triggering a fistfight.

Witness, Marita Ang, said cooler heads were able to prevail and pacify the two. However, she said they were surprised when Gois suddenly took a knife and again attacked Chua, stabbing him in the chest.

The wounded Chua was rushed to the Manila Central University Hospital where he died hours later. Gois is still being hunted by the police. Pete Laude
