Water cut-off advisory

Manila Water announced yesterday a six-hour water service interruption in portions of Quezon City beginning 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 up to 4 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12.

A valve replacement activity to upgrade the distribution line will be conducted along E. Jacinto corner Lakandula Street inside the UP campus.

Areas without water will be UP, Krus na Ligas, West Avenue, Roxas District, Bago Bantay, Heroes Hill, West and South Triangle.

Manila Water also announced a 24-hour dry-run activity which will affect portions of Mandaluyong City and San Juan beginning 8 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10 up to 8 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Isolation of the Pasig and San Juan booster and energization of a new interconnected line located at Julia Vargas corner Meralco Avenue, Pasig City will be conducted.

The following areas will experience low water pressure to no water during the activity: P. Guevarra, Greenhills, Little Baguio, Barangay Onse, Hiway Hills, Wack-Wack, Barangka, Mauway, Plainview, Malamig, Fabella, Libertad, Nueve de Pebrero, Bonifacio, Shaw, Stanford and Hagdang Bato.

Residents of the affected areas are advised to store enough water for their use prior to the scheduled water interruption. For updates, please call the Manila Water Customer Call Center Hotline at 1627.
