Investigators handling the murder of actress Nida Blanca are set to present at least five more witnesses to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to strengthen their parricide suit against her American husband Rod Lauren Strunk.
Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Director Nestorio Gualberto said around "five or six additional witnesses" in the case will affirm their testimonies before Senior State Prosecutor Archimedes Manabat today.
He said the witnesses will point to three other unidentified cohorts of Strunk and alleged self-confessed killer Philip Medel Jr., the principal suspects in the killing of the multi-awarded actress.
"We have new respondents to be identified tomorrow. We will file a manifestation naming the John Does. We have gathered additional evidence," Gualberto said. Delon Porcalla
