WPD forms Go task force

On orders of Mayor Lito Atienza, the Western Police District formed a special task force to go after the killers of former Manila Councilor Chika Go.

Dubbed "Task Force Chika," composed of elements of the WPD’s Homicide Section under the supervision of Chief Inspector Juanito Taluban.

According to Armand Sebastian, spokesperson of Atienza, the mayor was so appalled by Go’s killing last Saturday and called it a "cold-blooded murder."

Go, 47, who served as a Manila 3rd District councilor from 1992-1995, was driving to his condominium unit at theReina Regente Towers along Reina Regente Street aboard his light brown Mitsubishi Pajero when he was caught in heavy traffic and gunned down by a lone assailant. — Mike Frialde
