Professor sees death of religions

-
The emergence of sex scandals in the Catholic Church, the daily feud of sects on television, the communal fight in India, the conflict between Pakistan and India and between Israelis and Palestinians mark the beginning of the demise of all religions, according to A.W. Clemente, Phd.

Author of the series, In the Company of my God which contains messages he claims come from the Holy Spirit, Clemente, former education undersecretary, says this was revealed to him in 2001.

Clemente finished Political Science at UP and earned his master’s at the Kansas State University, and his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Connecticut. He has taught in universities here and abroad and worked as a UN executive in several countries for many years. In 1994, at the request of then President Ramos, he returned to the Philippines and became an undersecretary of education – taking a huge cut in pay and refusing all inducements of supplies.

"The fissures within and between religions will become more prominent by 2004. Although new religions will emerge in 2006, thereafter, all religions will crumble and start disappearing," Clemente said.

According to Clemente, "God as the Creator, expects every creation to pray to Him directly without the intervention of priests, ministers, imams, or rabbis; nor churches, temples or mosque.

The future of religion is discussed at length in Book V of In the Company of My God. The book is available only at Sulo Hotel and UP Tennis Club in Diliman, QC. For inquiries, call 925-4509 or 0916-821-5121. M.P. Mirasol
