PRC celebrations slated

The Professional Regulation Commission opens today its week-long celebration of its 29th founding anniversary with the theme "PRC Showcasing Good Governance."

The celebration will feature seminars, an outreach program, and recognition day with the granting of loyalty awards and retirement certificates to PRC employees and awards to sports festival champions.

It will culminate on Friday evening when awards are given to the outstanding professionals and accredited professional organizations at the reception hall of the Philippine International Convention Center.

The celebration executive committee is led by Chairperson Antonieta Fortuna-Ibe as chairman, and Commissioners Alfonso Abad and Avelina de la Rea-Tan as, respectively, vice-chair and co-vice chair.

Members are PRC Assistant Commissioner Aristogerson Gesmundo, Rodolfo Penalaosa and Anthony Cristobal of the Philippine Association of Boards of Examiners, Lourdes Echauz, Foundation of Outstanding Professionals, and Lydia Mangahas, Philippine Federation of Professional Organizations. Commissioner Tan is overall coordinator of the working committees.
