Roberto Galang, associate director of the AIM policy center, pointed this out during an interview recently with DTI Secretary Mar Roxas on the latters radio program "One-on-One with Mar Roxas" on DZRH.
The observation was a result of the survey conducted by AIM and DTI for the Philippine Cities Competititivess Ranking Project 2002 among 11 cities in the Metro Cities category comprising Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Metro Davao.
Last year, the DILG-Local Government Academy also conferred on Las Piñas the title Model City on Streamlining Regulatory Systems to Cut Red Tape in Local Government Transactions in the National Capital Region.
