The Caloocan City Prosecutors Office has filed two counts of statutory rape against a 31-year-old jobless man for allegedly raping his eight-year-old niece last year in Caloocan City.
PO1 Ma. Cecilia Mendoza, case officer, said the molestations took place in October and November 2001 at the suspects house.
The victim said she was sexually abused everytime she and her mother, the suspects sister, visited him. The incidents, however, were kept from her parents until last Friday when her parents asked her to spend her summer vacation at her uncles house. She said she had had enough and could not bear to be sexually abused again by her uncle. Jerry Botial
