Two girls stab ‘playboy’

Being a "playboy" has its disadvantages sometimes.

This was proven true when Raul Miriaste, 39, was stabbed and seriously wounded Thursday by his two girlfriends in his home in Venus Street Pasig City.

Miriaste sustained two stab wound in the abdomen and doctors said he will survive.

The police said suspects Cherry Soreso, 29, of Urbano Velasco St., Barangay Pinagbuhatan and Rosenable Freedom, 28, of Barangay Buting escaped after the incident. They are now being hunted by the police.

It appeared that Miriaste was maintaining a relationship with Soreso and Freedom at the same time. Both women were not aware of the situation.

But luck seemed not on the side of Miriaste Thursday when the two women knocked on his door at 8 p.m. Thursday apparently to pay him a visit. Police said Miriaste opened the door but made the mistake of calling both women "love."

Instead of quarreling among themselves, the two women turned their ire on Miriaste and took turns in slapping, punching, scratching and stabbing him. — Non Alquitran
