Fire razes bag factory

Faulty electrical wiring allegedly caused a fire that struck a two-story plastic bag factory in Ermita, Manila, early yesterday morning.
Hit by the fire was the factory of Polyfilm Products Inc. located 291 Concepcion Street in Ermita.
No one was reported hurt or killed in the blaze with damages worth at least P3.4 million.
According to Senior Fire Officer 4 Danilo Talusan, case inspector, prior to the fire, a loud explosion was heard inside the factory compound at about 3:40 a.m.
The fire reached Task Force Delta before it was placed under control by responding firemen at around 6 a.m. Mike Frialde
