Cop found dead in jeep

A San Juan policeman was found dead yesterday, slumped inside his parked owner-type jeep and with a gunshot wound in the head.

PO3 Hilario Reyes Jr., 36, assigned at the San Juan Traffic Enforcement Group (TEG) was found by passerby Loriano Campo at around 5:30 a.m.

Reyes, of 378 Hinahon St., Barangay Barangka Drive, Mandaluyong City, was identified through the PNP identification card and other documents in his wallet. Responding policemen also found his 9mm Beretta pistol and a magazine loaded with 14 live bullets. – Non Alquitran
