Barangay hall cum gambling center raided

The local government of Navotas took matters into its own hands over a negligent police when it raided a barangay hall and seized four illegal video gaming machines at noon last Friday.
Mayor Tobias Tiangco personally headed a raiding team composed of the local public safety office and volunteers under the Mayors Office and some members of the police in raiding the North Bay Boulevard North (NBBN) barangay hall on a tip from a concerned resident.
The informant said the local police, headed by Superintendent Roberto Villanueva, are suspected by local residents of conniving with local gambling operators and corrupt barangay officials. Jerry Botial
