Five persons, including a three-year-old girl, were slightly hurt after debris from the 18th floor of an annex building of a hospital in Tondo, Manila which is being constructed, fell on their barong-barong early yesterday morning.

Police identified those wounded as Ricardo de Guzman, 20; Sheena Mata, 3; Alexander Mata, 25; Marilou Mata, 21; and Danilo Facundo, 50, all staying at 1314 Mayhaligue St. in Tondo when the incident happened.

According to police, at about 3 a.m. yesterday, debris from the 18th floor of the annex building of the Metropolitan Hospital along Masangkay street were apparently loosened by a heavy downpour.

Police said the debris fell on the house of the victims located at the back of the hospital’s 19 floor annex building.
