The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has fined the proponent of the controversial Park N Ride in Manila P2.9 million for continuously defying the cease and desist order (CDO) issued by DENR Secretary Heherson Alvarez stopping the project.
Alvarez said that criminal charges are also being readied by the DENR and the National Historical Institute (NHI) against Park N Ride Inc., the city governments contractor, after it failed anew to comply with the closure order issued earlier by the DENR. Jose Rodel Clapano
