Speeding train kills man

An unidentified man was killed on the spot after he was hit by a passenger train in San Andres Bukid, Manila last Tuesday night.
Police investigators described the victim as between 25 and 30 years old, 55 to 57" tall, and of regular built.
According to police, the victim was crossing the railroad at the corner of Osmeña Highway and San Andres Street at about 8:30 p.m. when he was hit by the train.
Police said the victim was dragged several meters before the train stopped. The victim sustained a broken skull and mutilated legs.
As these developed, a man was killed in Tondo, Manila after he tried to pacify his two drunken friends last Tuesday night. Reports identified the victim as Almario Bansi, 42, of Gate 10, Area B, Parola Compound in Tondo. Police said the victim sustained a stab wound in the back. Mike Frialde
