Sampaloc building razed

A fire of still unknown origin, razed a two-story residential and commercial building in Sampaloc, Manila early yesterday morning.
Reports from the Manila Fire Department said the fire started at the ground floor of the building located along Dapitan St. at about 2:06 a.m. No one was reported hurt or injured in the incident.
The fire, which reached the fourth alarm, then quickly spread to the other parts of the building before it was finally extinguished by firefighters at about 2:53 a.m.
Arson investigators are still determining the cause of fire as well as the amount of the damage. The building was owned by Josephine Lim and was occupied by Richard Malig. Mike Frialde
