Manila jeepney hold-up men strike again

Whatever happened to the order of Western Police District acting director Senior Superintendent Nicolas Pasinos to deploy undercover policemen against jeepney and FX holdup men?
This was the question raised after robbers struck anew the other night in Sta. Mesa, Manila, carting away the expensive valuables of six women, including a police nurse, who were abroad a FX passenger van.
Sketchy reports identified the victims as Police Officer 2 Abulancia Flores, nurse at the Philippine National Police General Hospital, 28; Rochelle Fajardo, 32; of 12 Ugo St., Araneta Avenue; Josephine Redondo, 27; of 83 L. Lupa St. Kalookan City; Susan Paltan, 40; civilian nurse at the PNP General Hospital; Alicia Magdaraog, 39; of 430 Nuestra de Guia St., Ermita, Manila; and Carolina Unciano, 35; of 941 Maria Luisa St., Sampaloc, Manila. – Mike Frialde
