Police arrested a son of Caloocan Rep. Luis "Baby" Asistio Thursday night on orders of the congressman himself following reports that he had another brush with the law.
Luisito "Patchot" Asistio, 40, of de Leon street, 10th Avenue, Caloocan City was charged yesterday with robbery on complaint of Lucita Genova-Te, 41, businesswoman of 167 Capaz Galauran, 10th Avenue, Caloocan City.
Police later slapped charges of possession of illegal drugs when the younger Asistio was found in possession of two sachets of shabu.
Patchot was later released after posting bail of P50,000 for robbery and P60,000 for possession of prohibited drugs.
Investigator PO3 Rolando Domingo said Patchot, together with three companions, went to the house of Te asking for money. When Te refused to oblige, the suspects allegedly commandeered a bicycle, three service carts and empty bottles in several softdrink bottle cases amounting to P20,000. – Jerry Botial and Pete Laude
