Supervisor allegedly rapes NAIA girl

-
A supervisor of the Ground Operations Division of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport was reported yesterday to have raped a contractual paging receptionist who lured her to a dark area inside Terminal II on the pretext that he could facilitate her travel papers for going abroad.

The victim, who filed her complaint with the administrative investigation committee of the NAIA, said that Anglelito Bugnot raped her after she was waylaid by the accused in one of the dark corners of the new Centennial Terminal II.The complaint, has remained unacted upon despite the incident’s having taken place last month, giving rise to suspicions of a cover-up.

Other reported rape victims of Bugnot at the NAIA have also signified their intention to come out and file similar cases of rape.

Bugnot was said to have hypnotic power to lure unsuspecting victims and force his sexual intentions on them.

Meanwhile, a security aide of Airport General Manager Edgardo Manda again, attracted media attention when he breached security procedures at the NAIA by driving past a checkpoint of a perimeter road linking NAIA and Villamor Air Base.

A police spot report showed that Jovit Moya was on one of two vehicles, a Nissan Patrol and a Mitsubishi Strada, which ignored a signal to stop at the 505th control point and headed towards the ramp.

"The vehicles, in spite of prior warning and signal, refused to yield to SOP control procedures, ran down the chain barricade and went to proceed to the ramp area, the police spot report said.

This was the second time Moya was accused of throwing his weight around. The firs time was when he threatened to run down the security guards manning the entrance of the airport administration building for trying to stop his vehicle for inspection. – Rey Arquiza
