Man nabbed for raping 2 daughters

Police arrested on Wednesday a 32-year-old suspected drug addict for allegedly raping his two young daughters repeatedly in Malabon.

Two counts of rape charges were filed yesterday against Noel Rosano, a construction worker and a resident of Letre Road, Barangay Tonsuya.

According to the victims, ages five and two, the latest sexual abuses occurred on Jan. 5 at about 5 p.m. inside their house in Letre Road.

Case investigator PO1 Peter Rios said Rosano had been raping his daughters everytime their mother was away.

He added that the suspect and his wife were allegedly hooked on drugs.

The victims said they could no longer remember the date when they were first sexually abused by their father, but said that Rosano raped them whenever he was high on "shabu".

The victims revealed their ordeal to their grandmother, Josefina, who accompanied them to the police station where they filed formal complaints against Rosano.

Medical legal reports also showed that the victims had sustained lacerations on their private parts.

The suspect is now detained at the municipal jail after the Malabon Prosecutor’s Office denied him the right to post bail. – Matthew Estabillo
