13-year-old boy arrested

Police arrested the other day a 13 year-old boy for allegedly stabbing and robbing a college student inside her house in Caloocan City.
The suspect, an out-of-school-youth, and a resident of Kadiwa, Caloocan, is now detained at the city jail, after charges of theft and attempted murder were filed against him.
The city Prosecutors Office recommended bail of P128,000.
Victim Jocelyn Garcia, 19, a student of the Far Eastern University, and a resident of 13 Purification St., Maypajo, suffered a stab wound in her thigh.
According to PO3 Rolando Domingo, the incident took place at about 3 a.m inside the victims house in Maypajo. Garcia was sleeping in the living room when the suspect forced his way inside the house.
Reports said the boy sneaked in through a window, and started going through the victims things. Garcia however, woke up when she heard the commotion.
The suspect then took out a knife and stabbed Garcia in the left thigh. The victim screamed for help as the suspect immediately fled the scene, taking Garcias wallet.
The victims mother, Rosalie, rushed down and saw her daughter bleeding. She was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Matthew Estabillo
