Man killed for scolding neighbor

For scolding a man who urinated in front of his house, a drunken laborer was stabbed dead by his neighbor and two unidentified men the other night in Caloocan City.

Victim Angay-Angay, 30, of Phase 9, Package 4, Bagong-Silang, Caloocan, suffered two stab wounds in the body and expired while receiving medical treatment at the Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital.

Police are now hunting the suspect, identified as Antonio Abalos, 34. who fled with his cohorts right after the stabbing.

Initial investigations showed that the incident took place at about 9 p.m. outside the victim’s house in Bagong Silang.

Reports said a drunk Angay-Angay was walking home after a drinking session with some friends, when he spotted the suspect urinating outside his house.

The angry victim berated Abalos, took out a knife and lunged at the suspect. Abalos however, was able to dodge the attack and run for cover.

The suspect sought refuge at his sister’s house, but later returned along with two other companions and a knife of his own. Abalos confronted the victim and stabbed him twice in the stomach.

Angay-Angay was rushed to the hospital where he died, while the suspects escaped. Matthew Estabillo
