Electrician dies after sex in Caloocan motel room

-
The joys of sex can be fatal.

A 30-year-old electrician died after suffering a heart attack while having sex inside a motel yesterday morning in Caloocan City.

Danilo Gabanban, of 108 J. Ramos St., Libis Espina, Caloocan City, died while receiving medical treatment at the Manila Central University Hospital.

Chief Inspector Alfredo Corpus of the Station Investigation and Intelligence Division (SIID) said the victim suffered a heart attack at about 4 a.m. inside the Sogo motel along North Mall, Caloocan.

Gabanban and his girlfriend reportedly checked-in at the motel at about 10:25 p.m.

The victim, who had been going steady with his girlfriend for about two years, was reportedly very excited that night.

After several hours of sex, Gabanban complained of chest pains. Dizon immediately sought the help of the motel’s cashier.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he died. Police said Gabanban must have been exhausted and it could have led to his heart attack.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old taxi driver was arrested yesterday by police for repeatedly raping his 15-year-old daughter in Caloocan City.

The suspect, Rufino Lopez of Phase 2, Block 3, Bagong Silang, Caloocan, is now detained at the city’s police detention cell.

The victim, a fourth year high school student, appeared before operatives of the Caloocan police to file a formal complaint against her father.

According to Inspector Virginia Tyjuco of the Women and Children’s Desk, Lopez had been sexually abusing the victim since November of 1996. The latest was two weeks ago inside their house. – Matthew Estabillo
