Tac Padilla hurt in fire

A 36-year-old member of the RP shooting team was injured in a morning fire at a cooking oil factory in Malabon yesterday. Arson investigator Senior Fire Officer 2 Alvin Torres identified the victim as Nathaniel "Tac" Padilla, son of the owner of Malabon Soap and Oil Company. Padilla, sustained minor burns in the right arm while helping firefighters put out the blaze at the Spring Oil factory, located at 84 Luna street, Barangay San Agustin, Malabon. "Tac was hit by burning debris," Torres said. "But nothing to worry because it was only a slight injury." The fire which lasted for only 26 minutes, reportedly started at the factorys second floor.
