October 8, 2000 | 12:00am
The Chinatown Development Authority (CDA) has announced a special processing procedure starting Nov. 15 for the year 2001 business permits of its members, relieving them of the usual hassle and confusion.
Through the CDAs business development office, its members will only have to fill up forms available at the CDA office and submit them to the business development office under its head Rosie Go.
The CDA will then submit the applications to the Manila City halls Business Promotion and Development Office (BCDO).
Aside from being hassle-free, BCDO acting head Flora Go also promised the CDA that it would expedite the permits processing. The BCDO will then forward the permits to CDA for distribution to its members.
The CDA said the "deluxe" processing service will be done yearly in coordination with concerned barangay chairmen.
Aside from business permits, the CDA will facilitate for its members the required annual Mayors permit as well as working permits for the businesses employees. Jose Aravilla
