House owner loses P40k worth of items to burglar

CEBU, Philippines – At least P40,000 worth of valuables were stolen by a still unidentified perpetrator from a house in the Rabaya Compound at Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City.

The resident-victim, Cristino Redera, 56, sought police assistance upon the discovery of the stolen items. He said he and his family left their house last Saturday and went home the following day when they found several of their belongings strewn around and the kitchen window forcibly opened. Redera said he discovered that his P20,000-laptop, two cellphones, a pocket wifi and three wifi sticks were stolen. —/RAE (FREEMAN)
