P250T shabu confiscated; 4 arrested

CEBU, Philippines- Police seized P250,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested four suspects during last Saturday’s buy-bust operation at sitio Saac 1 in Barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City.

Those arrested were identified as Rulo Torreon, 36, and Renato Inot, 35, both residents of the place; Rabor, 36, from Barangay Bankal; and Adrian Herda, 26, from Barangay Mactan.

Senior Inspector Verniño Noserale, chief of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office-City Intelligence Branch, said the suspects were arrested while inside the house of Torreon, the main subject of the operation.

Eight small sachets and four medium packs of shabu, and drug paraphernalia were seized from them, Noserale said, adding that a .357-caliber revolver and three live bullets were also taken from Torreon.

The suspects are now detained in the LCPO-Holding Cell and are now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (FREEMAN)
