Six arrested for shabu possession

CEBU, Philippines - Police rounded up five people for abusing shabu in a house in sitio Salvacion, barangay Maguikay in Mandaue City but a couple, the target of the operation, escaped through a trap door Wednesday evening.

Police chief P Sr./Insp. Philipp Silva said the aim was to arrest Dario Lobenares and his neighbor Sabilo Tulod.

Silva said Lobenares was back in the illegal drugs trade after posting bail for a homicide case.

However, during the operation Loberanes along with his live-in partner Fucia Montod escaped by passing through a door in the upper portion of their house while Tulod and five others were caught in the act of abusing shabu inside Montod’s house and arrested.

The police seized alleged shabu and drug paraphernalia from Sebastian Tulod, 27, single, Sabilo Tulod, Eduardo Butod, 30, married, Jonel Biulba, 18, single, and Jango Hidayawan, 28, married, Maruel Saytap, 27, married.  (FREEMAN)
