Illegal gambling machine seized

CEBU, Philippines - In Talisay City, the police seized the other day an illegal gambling machine called “video karera” in Sitio Magay, Barangay Tanke.

“Inday,” the alleged owner, and bettors were not around when the police came.

But the police did not say why they went to the place when “Inday” and everybody else were not around.

Senior Inspector Richard Gadingan, the second-in-command of the Talisay City Police Station, told The Freeman that the police acted in response to City Councilor Danny Caballero’s call for an end to illegal gambling in the city.  (FREEMAN)
