Lapu-Lapu to resume campaign vs. measles

CEBU, Philippines - Starting this month, the Lapu-Lapu City Health Department will resume its measles vaccination program.

Last year, the health department in coordination with barangay health workers inoculated 10,479 9-12 months babies against measles, health officer Dr. Rodolfo Berame said.

He said health workers make house calls to make sure children who missed their shots for one reason or another are vaccinated.
