Man following hearse killed

CEBU, Philippines -  A man who was following the hearse of an uncle was shot dead Monday afternoon in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City.

Jason Amistad, 24, did not reach the Mactan Doctors’ Hospital alive.

One of two men on a motorcycle shot Amistad, who was also on another motorcycle driven by a cousin, hitting him on the chest and abdomen.

The two men wore helmets and their faces covered.

No one had taken down the plate number of the motorcycle used in the crime.

Neighbors said Amistad could have been involved in illegal drugs and could have been killed by colleagues.  (FREEMAN)
