Wounded man dies in hospital

CEBU, Philippines -  The man from sitio Riverside, barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City who was shot repeatedly early dawn of Christmas Day died hours after being taken to hospital.

 Christian Caña, 20, was shot to death in his sleep at his home.

His mother, Carlota, who was with him at the time of the shooting, died on the way to hospital after taking a bullet as she attempted to escape.

The bullet went through her arm and lodged in her body.

The police, who suspect a relative as behind the killing, are still gathering facts and talking to witnesses.  (FREEMAN)
