Lapu-Lapu to continue road repair next year

CEBU, Philippines -  Starting next year, the Lapu-Lapu City government will continue the repair of roads in the barangays.

“Next year, we will be repairing another 17 roads in various areas in the city, Mayor Paz Radaza said.

She said the city government has installed lamps along M. L. Quezon Avenue.

“We have lighted up Patalinghug Avenue. Pakpakan road is also fully lighted. We will continue to light up our city streets,” she said.

The parallel drainage system in barangay Basak is finished and during heavy rains even the lowest area of the city was not flooded, she said.

“Let us not be contented with what we have accomplished. Our city is developing very fast. We need to cope with progress and development,” she said.  (FREEMAN)
