3 arrested for illegal gambling
CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested Friday evening three persons for illegal gambling and possession of shabu in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.
Arrested were Reynan Cabigas, 45, of Tabunok, Mischelle Pabadora, 28, of Camp 3, Talisay City, and Jigger Labitad, 35, also resident of Tabunok.
The three persons were caught by the police playing “tong-its,†a card game.
The police seized the playing cards, P60, and shabu from Labitad.
Charges of illegal gambling will be filed against Cabigas, Pabadora, and Labitad.
Labitad will also face possession of illegal drugs charges.
The arresting team was composed of Inspector Rogene Fodutan, SPO1 Edgar Causon, SPO1 Benjamin Sabellita, SPO1 Isaias Cabuenas, PO3 Rey Bucao, PO3 Benedicto Lasque, and PO1 Esmer Gahi. (FREEMAN)
