Poro gets help from Mandaue

CEBU, Philippines - With the financial assistance from Mandaue City, the town of Poro can start its rehabilitation and reconstruction campaign.

Poro Mayor Luciano "Boy" Rama told The Freeman the damage on agricultural crops is one of the biggest problems facing the town.

"Sangko gayud sa langit ang among pasalamat sa atong mga opisyal sa dakbayan sa Mandaue nga naglakip sa ilang lungsod nga apil sa hinabang gikan sa dakbayan," Rama said.

He said the town will hold a concert on Saturday to raise funds for the victims. — (FREEMAN)
