Security guard shoots, kills company driver
CEBU, Philippines - A man who worked as a driver for a company in Sector 2, barangay Pagsabungan, Mandaue City was shot to death by a security guard of the same company Thursday afternoon.
Jojit Arsenal, 32, of Canduman Housing in barangay Canduman, driver of JEA Steel Industries Inc., was shot to death by security guard Luciano Cosenillo Jr.
Cosenillo hurriedly left the place after shooting Arsenal several times, hitting him on the left shoulder, chest, and left arm.
He was taken to the Mandaue City Hospital where he was declared dead.
SPO3 Marcos Noval Jr. of the Investigation and Detective Management Branch (IDMB) of the Mandaue City Police Office said the two men were arguing with each other before the shooting took place.
Noval said it was the second time the two men had quarreled.
