Woman shot dead inside internet cafe
CEBU, Philippines - A woman was shot dead inside an internet café in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn.
Shara Arabit Samama, 30, single, of New Paradise, barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City sustained gunshot wounds on the chest.
She was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
SPO Allan Frederick Pantalleon of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Homicide Section said that at around 1:30 a.m. yesterday, the woman was inside an internet café in barangay Pajo when a man entered and shot her several times.
The gunman fled on a motorcycle.
Policemen recovered three empty shells of a cal. 45 revolver and a deformed slug of the same caliber.
The police said that last October 23, the woman reported to Police Station 3 that she had received death threats from a certain “Nazel†who was accusing her of telling the police that she (Nazel) was engaged in selling illegal drugs. (FREEMAN)
