Tenants lose valuables at apartment

CEBU, Philippines - Tenants of two units of an apartment building in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City lost their valuables to burglars last Monday night.

Jun Estrealla, 26, and Ronnell Jumuad, 27, told Police they lost their things while they were at work. They are renting apartments 1 and 2 of the Lee Colina apartment in Sitio Nawanao in Barangay Subangdaku.

Estrella said he and his live-in partner arrived a little past 6 p.m. when they discovered that the padlock of their unit had been destroyed. Estrella said they lost an HP laptop worth P78,000; assorted silver jewelry worth P24,000; and Nike shoes worth P6,000.

Ronell Jumuad, meanwhile, told the police that he lost his DSLR Canon camera worth P49,000 and important documents.

Investigation is ongoing to identify the suspects and to determine how they entered the building. – (FREEMAN)
