Dead man found in Lapu-Lapu

CEBU, Philippines - A decomposing body of a man was found by at a vacant lot in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning.

The body was identified as that of Jomar Braga, 23, a resident of the place.

The body was found by a woman at past 8 a.m. when she went to the vacant lot to burry a dead dog.

PO2 Jerson Alparito of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office Homicide Section said a .38 revolver with four bullets and an empty bullet shell was found beside the victim.

The victim’s family has reportedly been looking for Braga since last September 12.

Investigators said it was difficult to ascertain if Braga was shot considering that his body was already decomposing. Braga’s body will be subjected to autopsy.  (FREEMAN)
