Six Papuan nationals arrested in Mandaue

CEBU, Philippines - Six Papua New Guinea nationals who are currently studying in different universities in Cebu were arrested and detained Sunday for allegedly creating noise and causing trouble in an apartment at A. S. Fortuna Street, barangay Banilad, Mandaue City.

Arrested were Geoffrey Maraveka, 20, of Talamban Cebu City, David Kila, 20, of Banilad Cebu City, Noor Kusunan, 22, of Banilad, Mandaue City, Fischer Buter, 22, of Banilad, Mandaue City, Bradley Posu, 19, of Banilad, Cebu City, and Immanuel Sap, 21, of barangay Lahug, Cebu City.

The six men failed a liquor test conducted at the Mandaue City Hospital.

Police have filed charges against them.  (FREEMAN)
