Man,18, stabbed

CEBU, Philippines - An 18-year-old man was rushed to hospital in critical condition after getting stabbed several times Sunday evening while waiting for a ride in barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City

Ryan Empinado, who lives with Franciscan nuns in  barangay Talamban in Cebu City, had gone to Pusok to visit friends that day.

While waiting for a ride home, an unidentified man stabbed him without any provocation, police said.

As he fell to the ground the attacker fled.

A concerned citizen took pity of Empinado and took him to hospital. (FREEMAN)
