Woman held up in Mandaue
CEBU, Philippines - A 44-year-old woman was held up at gunpoint while onboard a jeepney for Mandaue City from Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn.
Fe Tundag, of barangay Cogon, Bogo City told police that upon reaching BB Cabahug Street near Manpark Cemetery in barangay Guizo, one passenger suddenly pointed a gun at her and declared a holdup.
Tundag said she gave her sling bag which contained P800, assorted keys, two sim packs, and some documents.
The driver only knew about the holdup when he heard her scream for help as the holdup man and a companion got off the jeepney.
He said he took the woman to the Centro Police station where she reported the robbery.
Two policemen on a motorcycle took off immediately in a bid to catch the robbers but to no avail. (FREEMAN)
